Mission Statement
Together Frankfort fosters informed citizenship through partnerships and events focused on issues that affect our community and our country, including voting rights and environmental and social justice.
History
Together Frankfort was organized in 2017 by a group of volunteers concerned about the state of our elections. A community meeting established two main goals for the group: register people to vote and provide accurate and timely information to educate voters.
Together Frankfort’s efforts to accomplish those goals are extensive. We have organized candidate forums and public discussions of a wide range of issues with expert panels. Together Frankfort has sponsored demonstrations, letter-writing campaigns, and community events such as Earth Day and Juneteenth with partner organizations. Above all, voter registration events are held throughout the community at every opportunity.
